Welcome to the website of NASR, the Netherlands-American Society of the Rockies!
The Netherlands-American Society of the Rockies (NASR) is a social organization in the Rocky Mountain Region which promotes social contacts and exchanges between members who have roots or other connections to The Netherlands.
We are a non-profit organization run by volunteers. Our members share a common interest in The Netherlands, either by way of nationality, origin, business interest or culture. Approximately 70% of our members speak Dutch but non Dutch members are certainly welcome.
We organize monthly social events which include certain typical Dutch festivities as Koninginnedag and Sinterklaas. However, we have a large variety of other activities as well.
The NASR also serves as an information source to local residents and a social/cultural center for those of Dutch decent, or for those with relationships or interest in The Netherlands.
Our annual meeting is held in November during which the Board of Directors is elected.
The NASR welcomes active participation from all members and we welcome any new member!
